“Shefu” premiers in Ethiopian theaters

Released by Kam Global Pictures Production, the PG 13 movie had Michael Beyene pen the script. According to the producers, it took only four months to complete the shooting and editing of the film. The cast ensemble features popular Ethiopian artists like Tesfaye Gessesse, Michael Million and Alemseged Tesfaye while Mohammed Dawed sat behind the lens to direct the movie. Mahder Assefa who is famous for her lead role in the TV series “Sew lesew” is also part of the cast ensemble. Producers of “Shefu” say the color and sound system of the film were made in India by the country’s professional film makers.  “Shefu”, a romantic comedy narrates the story of a wealthy and famous cook and his encounter with a woman from a family that has a low income.
