China Ethiopia discuss bilateral ties at G20 Sidelines

Chinese president met with Prime Minister Meles Zenawi at the sidelines of the G 20 Summit in Mexico to discuss bilateral ties.

According to Xinhua news agency, the two leaders met to discuss the expansion of all-round cooperation between China and Africa. President Hu said China wants to strengthen communication with Ethiopia on major international issues and boost cooperation in trade, investment and infrastructure. Prime Minister Meles Zenawi for his part said China has offered sincere assistance to African nations. He noted that China is Africa's key partner during the process of the continent's transformation.  Chinese President Hu Jintao urged leaders of the Group of 20 members to give developing nations a bigger say in global economic governance.
