በምዕራባውያን መንግስታት እና በአልቃይዳና ተከታዮቹ መካካል እየተካሄደ ባለው ዘርፈ-ብዙ ጦርነት ምክንያት በሺዎች የሚገመቱ ሰዎቸ ህይወታቸውን አጥተዋል፤የቢሊዮኖች ሰላምና ደህንነት ተናግቷል፡፡ በብዙ ትሪሊዮን የአሜሪካ ዶላር የሚገመት ሃብት ባክኗል፤ ወድሟል፡፡ ድህነትና ኋላ ቀርነት ተንሰራፍቷል፤ ጨለምተኝነት ሰፍኗል፤የህዝቦች ብሶት ከቁጥጥር ውጭ በመሆን ህዝባዊ ዓመጾች እንደ እሳት ሰደድ በመቀጣጠል ላይ ናቸው፡፡
ምዕራባውያን መንግስታት ጠላት የሚሉዋቸው እስላማዊና ጂሃዳዊ እንቅስቃሴ የሚያደርጉ ኃይሎችን ነው፡፡ አልቃይዳና ተከታዮቹ በጠላትነት የሚፈርጇቸው የምዕራባውያንና የዓረብ መንግስታትና የክርስትና ኃይማኖት አማኞችን ነው፡፡
በጦርነቱ ዋና ተጎጂ የሆኑ ህዝቦች የጦርነቱን መንስኤ ተገንዝበው የመፍትሄ ሃሳቦችን ለመቀየስና ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ የሚያስችል እድል ስላላገኙ የዚህ ጦርነት ዋና ተዋናዮች አልቃይዳና የአሜሪካ መንግስት ሁነው ቀጥለዋል፡፡
ዓለም አቀፉ ማሕበረሰብ የጦርነቱን መንስኤና ጦርነቱ እንዲቀጥልና እንዲስፋፋ የሚያደርጉ ሁኔታዎችን በትክክል መገንዘብ ባለመቻሉ እስካሁን ድረስ በተደረገው ጥረት ሰላምንና ደህንነትን ማስፈን አልተቻለም፡፡
የጦርነቱን መንስኤ በመለየትና መፍትሄ በመስጠት ውጤት ያስገኙ ቢኖሩም የተገኘው ልምድ የዓለም ዓቀፉ ማሕበረሰብ ሊገነዘበው ባለመቻሉ ፋይዳው ውሱን ሆኖ ቆይቷል፡፡
አሁንም የዓለም አቀፉ ማህበረሰብ በጦርነቱ መንስኤና መፍትሄ ላይ እስካልተግባባ ድረስ ጦርነቱ እንደሚቀጥልና የሚያደርሰው ጉዳትም የባሰ እንደሚሆን መገመት ከባድ አይደለም፡፡
ይህ መፅሐፍ በጥልቀት የዳሰሰው በዓለም አቀፍ አሸባሪነትና በምዕራባውያን መካከል እየተካሄደ የሚገኘውን ጦርነት ነው፡፡ የዚህ መፅሐፍ ዓላማ የኃይማኖት ፅንፈኝነትና ዓለም አቀፍ አሸባሪነት እንዲከሰቱ፣ እንዲስፋፉና እስከ አሁን ድረስ የተካሄዱ ወታደራዊ ዘመቻዎች ለምን ዘላቂ ሰላምና ደህንነት ማረጋገጥ እንዳልቻሉ መዳሰስ፣ የወደፊት አዝማሚያዎችንና መፍትሄዎችን ማመላከት ነው፡፡ ይህ መፅሐፍ ባለፉትና በወቅታዊ ሁኔታዎች ላይ ጥያቄ ለማንሳትና አማራጭ መፍትሄ ለማፈላለግ በሚያግዝ መልኩ የተደራጀ ነው፡፡
ይህ መፅሐፍ በፀረ አሸባሪነት ጦርነት ላይ ለሚገኙ መንግስታት በተለይም በጦርነቱ ዋና ተጠቂ ለሆኑ ህዝቦች የሚያስተላልፈው መልእክት አለው፡፡ መፅሐፉ በውስጡ የያዛቸው ቁም ነገሮች የኋልዮሽ የሚመለከቱ አይደሉም፡፡ ያለፉትን ሂደቶች እንዳሉ በማቅረብ ወቅታዊና የወደፊት ስጋቶችን በተገቢው ሚዛን ላይ አስቀምጦ ለማየት የሚያግዙ መረጃዎች አሉት፡፡

Thousands have lost their lives due to the war between Western countries and Al-Qaeda and its followers; the peace and security of billions of people is endangered; trillion US dollars are spent. Poverty, backwardness, pessimism and public resentment are growing and popular uprisings are spreading.
Forces that carry out Islamic and Jihadist movements are considered as enemies by western governments. The west, Arab states and Christianity are considered as threat by Al-Qaeda and its followers.
The failure of the international community to truly understand the root causes of the problem and the factors contributing to its continuity has challenged the prevailing peace and security.
Although some have succeeded in identifying the root cause and finding solutions for it, its success is confined to a limited degree because the effort has not been recognized by the international community.
The war would only continue causing an even greater damage unless the international community reaches at a consensus on the causes and solutions for the war.
This book deals in depth with the ongoing war between international terrorists and the West. The book talks about factors that contributed to the rise in religious extremism and international terrorism; why military campaigns carried out so far failed to ensure sustainable peace and security as well as future trends and recommendations. The book enables one to invoke questions and to look for alternative solutions for past and present affairs.
The book conveys a message to governments engaged in a war on terrorism and to people who are the major targets of terrorist acts. Although the book presents past events, the ideas contained within are not recounts of the past. Rather, contemporary and future threats are analyzed and supporting evidences are included.
